Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings*

Chicken wings

Hubby and I are Chicken wings fan.  The cheapest one we like are from Flaming Wings in BF Paranaque, better than Hooters in MOA (SM Mall of Asia).  Well, Hooters in MOA was not being consistent with their servings that is.  Sometimes the hot ones tastes ordinary, sometimes it’s really hot.  So instead of going there, we go to Flaming Wings.  And now, I (will) just make our own, which by far is the cheapest and safest of all!

I’ve had this recipe since last year but never had the chance to try it out.  The husband’s been requesting this for weeks now so I decided to make some for Valentine’s day, my gift for him :) *naks*

So anyway, these chicken wings are truly easy to make and they really taste like those from the restaurants.  Might be even better since you’re sure what the ingredients are. ;)

*Note: Recipe from Allrecipes.com
> used unsalted butter
> used Spanish paprika
> instead of using a bowl, I used a ziploc bag. Easier and less messy to coat chicken :)

I tried this recipe yesterday. Unfortunately, the sauce tasted bland or it has more like a buttery-taste to it. My mom had to add almost a cupful of garlic-chili sauce for it taste fairly good.

hmm, I am sorry to hear that. Maybe you can lessen the butter next time you try. :) We did just that to make it “healthier” and at the same time, made it even spicier. I am not sure if this will help but do melt the butter before mixing the other ingredients first. :)

    Thanks for dropping by.
